Why Homecarelink exists
The services that support our everyday lives — caring for people and pets, supporting families, and helping in and around the home — are often undervalued.
Homecarelink came from lived experience, working as a support worker within an agency and seeing firsthand how much people were charged compared to how little the people doing the work were paid. That didn’t sit right with us.
We believe people should be able to access the services they need at a price they can afford, and that those providing these services should be paid fairly and treated with respect.
What started in care has grown into something broader. Today, Homecarelink connects locals directly with service providers across a wide range of services — from support work, health and wellbeing, and beauty, to childcare, cleaning, pet care, and help in and around the home — without unnecessary middlemen. It’s built on trust, transparency, and giving people choice.
Because when things are fair, everybody wins.

Jaimee Hart | Co-Founder & Chief Care Educator
Mum-of-two Jaimee has 15 years of experience as a support worker. With time spent working in residential care facilities and in clients’ homes, Jaimee understands the challenges that clients and care providers face. Jaimee brings her wisdom and compassion to our advice columns so that everyone who uses our site can navigate care arrangements with confidence.
Cerelia Diprose | Co-Founder & Web Developer
Resident tech expert Cerelia began her career in the care industry, later moving into management and analytics. With family and friends spending their entire working lives in the care industry, Cerelia is focussed on making it easy to find or provide the care that is needed in the community.
